This fanfic is my continuing effort to rewrite/ recreate the EU as I believed it should have happened. I don’t like the idea and premises behind the NJO where the writers killed off main characters simply for the sake of making things “interesting.” When I write my stories, I try to always keep GL’s original visions foremost in my mind and they loosely follow events from the YJK books. I also hold onto the things that I love most about the SW films, particularly the OT- which is that the main characters were all such good friends. My stories center around the Solos and Skywalkers being very tightly knit family unit and very protective of each other. When I write, I also base my stories on the ideals of mythology and they tend to follow the more fantasy element, rather than sci-fi. Usually, they do at least…

This story is set 3 years after my short story, Legacy of Light. For this story, I am trying my hand at a medical/scientific thriller, as well as writing children’s story elements. Eventually I’m going to be moving into politics and lots of intense battles- of all sorts. Most of my readers know me as being a mush writer, and there will most likely be romantic elements to this story. But for the most part this tale will weave action, adventure, angst/drama, and the thrill of the race against the clock. For those who read and loved TCAQ- Anakin and TK are taking a break and are off raising their triplets. They most likely will only be making brief appearances in this story as it is going to focus again on the Solo and Racees twins. However, this is a planned trilogy- so Anakin and TK will be back later on…

As per how I normally write, I am taking liberty with writing canon characters. I know nothing about Danni Quee from the NJO books and am writing her from scratch – if there is zero resemblance to her in those books- that is why. Zekk, I only remember briefly – and I don’t believe I ever finished the YJK books- so again, I’m making things up as I go and based entirely on a faulty memory. Also, if you will note Tahiri Veila is in the cast of characters. I’m completely altering her birth story, and age. She will be much younger than she is in the books.

A Word about the Title

My stories do not follow the NJO books- that’s probably readily apparent when you look at the pairings of my characters. They do, however, blend the basics of earlier EU works. One story arc that did happen in my tales is that Kyp Durron DID destroy Carida using the Sun Crusher, as per Kevin J. Anderson’s Jedi Academy books trilogy.
